9/5/2006I lived in Seattle for a lot of years and about the only thing I enjoyed there was the Smooth Jazz radio station. When I returned to God's country, the tri-cities area, over six years ago now, I was very disappointed when I tried to find decent radio stations for my car's pre-set buttons. There was no jazz station here. Rather than subject my ears to what I found offensive, I chose second best, my CDs. I was very excited when a friend told me about Smooth Jazz 101.9 FM. Now I can listen to the radio or my CDS. All is well in my world. SL-Kennewick
9/5/2006Hello, just wanted to tell you how happy I have found your station. It is the only one I listen to. I really enjoy listening. I wouldnt change a thing, the perfect combination of old and new. Everyone I talk to a work also think you have a great station. Please keep doing what your doing....were listening!J. Diedrich - Kennewick, WA

Thanks for stirring up some old memories. I am going to have a wine party next weekend to honor your new jazz station no more having to look through my CD archive's to find the music that we all enjoy I will just have your station on all three radio's you even made my party planinng simplified, cheers to you ! JAM - MosesLake

8/30/2006Hi, my name is Patricia Taylor. I am from New York. I listen to your station everyday. You play a song called The In Crowd by Ramsey Lewis Trio and say that it is the anniversary edition. I have purchased three cd's that are all wrong version. Please tell me the proper title of the cd so that I may purchase it. I had no idea that there are so many versions of this song. I would like to purchase only the version you play on your station. Please write me back with the title and let me know where I can purchase it. Thanks in advance, P. Taylor - New York
8/30/2006Hi, great music, smooth sounds: one of my favourite jazz stations! Thanks for making possible tuning in - worldwide: I'm listening in my office in germany, in a little village, called Huertgenwald - Gey, in the Eifel - region near by Cologne in the western part of our country (www.Huertgenwald.de). Best wishes Lutz
8/30/2006 We just recently discovered your radio station, and we're so glad we did! We love the music. Thanks! Becky & Dan
8/30/2006You have been playing a song I love - Gingi??? Not sure how to spell it. Looking to find out who the artist is so I can buy it. Thanks! Traci Wagner - Tri-Cities
8/30/2006Finally, a decent radio station to listen to ALL DAY. I love the music, the soft voices of the announcers. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Judy
8/30/2006I have been enjoying your station since it first come on and thought it is about time that I thank all of you for a great station and the fine jazz music, I would not change a thing. I am so grateful that we finally have a quality station here in the Tri Cities and surrounding area. Smooth Jazz 101.9 is now the only station that we listen to, well almost. Sometimes on the weekends we tune in to The Prairie Home Companion on National Public Radio. Thanks, your faithful listeners.T. and J. Gray - Tri-Cities
8/30/2006Love the sounds, I listen at home on my computer and to and from work. I'm telling my friends about the new station. Keep it going. D. Thompson
8/30/2006Finally some "Grown Folks" music! It's good mature music that we can truly appreciate. We must support it this station. We just don't know how fortunate we are that some recognized that we needed this style of music and did something about it! Sadie H.
8/10/2006finally a great jazz station that I can turn on - leave on - listen to. Don't change a thing. You have taken the market to a new level of entertainment. Gary
8/7/2006Exceptional. Love it! At home, in the car, at the office. You guys rock in a jazzy way. Susan B. - Kennewick
8/7/2006Your station is the ONLY one I listen to! Love it! Keep up the great Smooth Jazz Music. Cheryl - Tri-Cities
8/7/2006FINALLY, a jazz station in this wasteland of regurgitated rock and country clone fm stations. You folks are now my number one preset at home and in the truck. Your programming is great, don't change a thing. Just turn up the power because the mexican station at 101.7 bleeds thru sometimes. Thanks for the breath of fresh air in fm listening.W. Madsen - Eastern Oregon
8/7/2006I would like to congratulate you for helping make the Tri-Cities a more cosmopolitan area. Finally we have some decent music for the "sophisticated" mind.Dewey - Tri-Cities
8/7/2006Great music! Hope you're able to continue broadcasting. I stream your station through my computer as soon as I get to work in the morning. Thanks! J, Briggs - Walla Walla, WA
8/7/2006I love Keith Riker! His voice is so AWESOME. I listen to Smooth Jazz all the time and it reminds me of the big city. I have waited so long and now I feel like I've died and went to heaven. The music selection is great and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for bringing "class" to the Tri-Cities. Liz G. - Tri-Cities, WA
8/1/2006The Top Of The Hill gang says hello! Love the station……… listen all the time. I found your station one day while searching for something easy to listen to. I listen to Country, Rock, Christian, until the programming rotations drive me nuts. That's the secret of your station, is that even though you have rotations too, the tunes are subtle enough to be discrete. It’s kind of the "all Jazz sounds alike" thing. But that is a good thing, at least from an easy listening standpoint. Anyway, I can be entertained at 101.9 without feeling like I am listening to the top 40, over, and over, and over. P. Winter - Pendleton, OR
7/31/2006 > We came to Walla Walla in 1996 and all I could find were Country Western stations (Blah!). There was nothing jazz oriented, not even close. Finally, I feel like the station I left behind in Portland, OR has re-joined us!! > > Sincerely, > > > Dale Schwartzenhauer, CMA, CFM> D. Schwartzenhauer, CMA, CFM / Walla Walla, WA
7/29/2006Your the best thing to happen for radio listeners in Kennewick. I've been waiting for years to hear this music on the radio.M. Manning - Kennewick, WA
7/26/2006Awesome.Thank you. I love this station.M. Spears - Kennewick, WA
7/24/2006Gentleperson's- Well.......if only your vibe would accompany me beyond Mattawa on my drive to and from Hanford from my vineyard site in the Yakima River Canyon ~ 8 miles South of Ellensburg, life would be grand. Or better yet, if you operated a sister station in the Kittitas Valley, eh? Anyway, it has been a long time coming and I am glad it has finally arrived, albeit in the Tri-Cities. Keep up the good work, as with continuous infrastructure improvement like your smooth jazz station (e.g. restaurants, wineries, B&B's, spas, etc.), Washington Wine Country will become a reality.G. Cox - Ellensburg, WA
7/19/2006Hey you guys are the greatest and I really enjoy the selection of groovy music you are playing. As a compliment I have switched from my XM jazz stations to you guys as my listening station. keep up the good work and thanks for giving the Tri-Cities a choice…… L. Pritchard - Tri-Cities
7/17/2006The wait is over. Now the Tricities is getting closer to be diverse place. Thanks,Sam A. - Tri-Cities
7/17/2006Hello, Couldn't believe my ears - I was setting up my new CD player and it dialed in your station. I have done nothing but complain (to anyone who would listen) about the lack of smooth jazz here in the Tri-Cities. I spend my winters in AZ and listen to KYOT 95.5 out of Phoenix. I HATE leaving it behind when we come home. Well...needless to say, I now have every radio tuned to your station - thanks!!! PJ - Tri-Cities
7/11/2006I was so pleased to find a good smooth jazz station in the Columbia basin! 101.9 is dialed in my car and I love to listen to it late at night. I love the songs with the strong sax grooves!! This station is by far the best one on the waves in this area. Thanks for bringing the best smooth jazz to the best region in the state!T. Davis - Walla Walla
7/10/2006Smooth Jazz, I love it!!! You’re quickly replacing my repeat listenings of NPR – how about that? I especially LOVE Michael Lington, and your R&B stuff is really catching on with me. I heard a great new track yesterday (Friday around noon) with Gladys Knight called Feeling Good. I tried to download it on iTunes, but I couldn’t find it. Can you clarify the name of that song / artist? It was a blend of R&B and Salsa – terrific! Keep doin’ what you’re doin’! I’m gonna keep listening. Avid listener, Vic
7/8/2006Just wanted to show my support for smooth jazz in the tri-cities, I'm from Richland and have been a fan for awhile since I moved up from Texas where we had smooth jazz there as well. Again thanks for coming to the Tri-Cities.Paula H - Richland
7/7/2006Hello, I just tuned in to your smooth jazz station and I think it is wonderful! I live in Richland, there is not a great selection of music stations. However, I was delighted to hear about Smooth Jazz 101.9. I just started to appreciate the fine music of jazz. Your station is helping me build a good collection. I have Chris Botti on the top of my list and hope to add to his talented contributions. Thanks Smooth Jazz for a job well done. We really need this station in the Tri-Cities area! Sincerely, B. Roland - Tri-Cities, WA
7/7/2006Keep the smooth jazz coming, U R the BEST thing to happen to the Tri-Cities in a long time! Enjoying every minute of my listening pleasure. Thanks for working on the stronger signal, you sound great! Marie - Tri-Cities

7/3/2006I have always liked smooth jazz, but never as much as I do now that KUJJ is available. I wake up to it and go to bed with it on at night. Keep up the great work. Lynn - West Richland
6/29/2006 We bought a brand new convertible for our 32nd wedding anniversary and found 101.9. We loved it so much that we took a two week road trip and had a blast! We NEVER change the station and have told everyone we know and now they are listening! Thanks so very much for this wonderful, relaxing station. David & Shawn Hermiston, Oregon
6/21/2006This is the best station our area has had in many years. I will tell all my friends about 101.9. Keep it up! All my radios are dialed in to this great station and I am hoping to listen to you via the web too. I used to listen to talk radio on the way to work and when I would arrive I would be a bit stressed with all that I was hearing. Now I only listen to 101.9 and it is amazing how peaceful I feel when I get to my parking lot and how great it is to start my work day because of the wonderful easy listening music and soft voices on your station. I will now go out and purchase many of the CD's that you play on this station!!!!! JD from the Tri-Cities
6/19/2006 just wanted to say what a great station you have. I enjoy listening to it all day. It is especially nice having it in the car--it always de-stresses me at the end of a hard day. I cannot say enough good things about Smooth Jazz 101.9 FM. Are you going to put out tee-shirts with your logo? I'd love to be able to purchase one. Again, thank you for "smoothing" out my day with your terrific music!! A loyal fan, Dee StairetD. Stairet - Kennewick

6/12/2006Smooth Jazz, E-mailed you back in March welcoming you to the Tri-Cities. I also ask you when you were going to get "more power, because I couldn't receive your signal in my office. Now that you have a new antennae Smooth Jazz coming in loud and clear!! Awesome!! J Culmer - Richland, WA
6/7/2006Thank you so much for coming to the Tri-Cities. I've been waiting 15 years for a jazz station to make it here. A lot of your music reminds me of my college days when I was first introduced to smooth jazz! Kirby - Pasco, WA
5/31/2006You have no idea how long I've been waiting for a jazz station that truly knows "JAZZ". Thank you! Randy - Richland, WA
5/30/2006I am enjoying your music very much and listen over the internet often. I farm near Odessa Washington and having smooth jazz on my radio will make this coming harvest even more fun! Paul Scheller - Odessa
5/24/2006It's Soooo... Good to hear the sound of jazz in this cultural wasteland. I thought it would never happen! I'm a native NYCite, then 20 years in Vegas and real music has found ME! Keep the sounds comin' I'll spread the word. Goodbye to 105.3, now there is choice.J. Page - Tri-Cities
5/23/2006Fantastic! New transmitter has filled the reception holes that we found so irritating as we traveled around town. We live on Horse Heaven Hills and could not get reliable reception at home either. Not a problem now. By the way, we were at Palouse Falls a couple of weeks ago and reception there was perfect even before the new transmitter. Now we are awaiting the jazz events in the Tri-Cities that you have been teasing us with. Good work and thanks, John - Kennewick
5/22/2006You asked, on the air, for our comments, so here is mine: Welcome to the Tri-Cities ! What a delightful change to get listenable music instead of gabage, hard rock, and rap that is permeating the air. Keep up the good work, and again, WELCOME !!!!!!Art - Tri-Cities
5/19/2006Your new antennae is working great. Finally, good reception in the office. I really appreciate it.......... Thanks!Jackie D - Hermiston, OR
5/15/2006Wow!!!!! I am glad you are here. I have been living in the Tri-Cities for approximately nine years and I have never enjoyed listening to the radio sooooo! much. I am a Christian and ever since I found you on my dial I have not been able to listen to ANC. I just love it that you are here and glad I found you. Geneva
5/10/2006I love your station. When it first came on air, all my friends were calling - hey, we finally have a smooth jazz station! Even my 20-something son and daughter love it. They say it sounds just like San Francisco! You make my day ...... .Launa - Pasco
5/8/2006Dear KUJJ 101.9 fm, I really enjoy the music that you play. It is so nice to hear easy listening smooth jazz. My family and I just moved to W. Richland a few months ago from Los Angeles. I loved listening to smooth jazz there on station KTWV, the WAVE and I was afraid I was not going to be able to hear my favorite music. Then one day I was searching the radio stations here and I found your station. What a real treat it has become ever since. I love your station and your music. I listen everyday. One of my favorite artist is Marc Antoine, but then again all smooth jazz is my favorite. Thank you for all the great music and I want to wish you all the best. With warmest regards.D. Marks - Richland, WA
5/3/2006I've listened to jazz stations in Vegas and often commented how much I'd like to see one in Walla Walla. Four of five generations in my family are now enjoying your station. From my 88 year-old mother down to our four-month-old great-grandson. We began taking care of him at age three months. I have the bedroom radio on low while he naps to cover up noise. We have five radios in our home. Smooth jazz is playing on no less than three at a time. Thank you for bringing smooth jazz to Walla Walla and College Place. S. Queen - College Place, WA
5/3/2006THANK YOU...............THANK YOU................THANK YOU. I have waited for years for a smooth jazz station. I'm 59 yrs. old and I am so tired of hearing over and over again the same old tunes from the 60's and 70's. It is so nice to be able to turn on your station and find some really relaxing music. S. Stroud Tri-Cities
5/2/2006Finally a radio station for grown ups! Welcome to the Tri-Cities! KenRichland
4/28/2006Found out about 101.9 from a co-worker a couple of weeks ago and have been listening ever since. Great mix of music. I've heard several songs that I have not heard in ages. Jason in Richland
4/27/2006Wow! Smooth Jazz 101.9 makes for a glide-of-a-ride along Walla Walla's rough roads. The first time I tuned-in, it was like the sound transformed my Camry into a Town Car--I could almost smell the rich, corinthian leather seats. Silky smooth, that's what I'm talking about! What a welcome new addition Smooth Jazz 101.9 is. Fred, Walla Walla, WA
4/23/2006Welcome Smooth Jazz 101.9 to the Tri-Cities! Your music is unsurpassed, and it is the talk of the town.M. McNamar of Tri-Cities
4/14/2006I just saw the story on the 5pm news on KVEW-TV tonight about your station, so I ran out to my car, tuned in to the station, and gave it the #1 spot on my station choices on my car radio! I've been hoping Smooth Jazz would be introduced to the Tri-Cities for years now. I'm glad you're here!Micki F. of Kennewick
3/29/2006Considering the Tri-Cities has per capita more PhD's than any other city in the country, your station is welcomed. The only station I will be tuned too!!John C. of Richland
